People We Like: Bob Camp

We had just pulled the car into the convention center and were working on wiping her down and polishing her up before they opened the doors for the first day of X-Con when we heard someone say, “I’ve heard they’re making a Ghostbusters 3….”

We turned around and there was Ren and Stimpy creator Bob Camp.  We talked a little about the new movie.  We found out Bob was friends with Ghostbusters producer Michael Gross.  And then Bob told us a story about when he was in New York during the filming of Ghostbusters.  He was walking down the street when he saw the Ecto-1 sitting there.  He looked the car over and walked up to the tinted windows.  When he peered in through the split in the tint, lo and behold, all the Ghostbusters were sitting in the car!  He waved at them.  They waved back.  And Bob went on his way!
