The Sci-Fried Eggs broadcast live from Port City Pop Con in Wilmington, NC! Special guests Renae Jacobs, the voice of April O’Neil from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stops by. Then Robbie Rist, the voice of Michelangelo from the TMNT movie, and Hal Rayle, the voice of Raphael and the Predator, attempt to hijack the show. Doc and Chuck get to sit down with the beautiful cosplayer and Chivette Jessica Nigri. Ghostbusters Winston Zeddemore Mr. Ernie Hudson chats about his life and career and shares some worldly advice. And also Steven Haines drops in and gives us a line-up for X-Con in Myrtle Beach next week!

At 5,506 feet, the town of Beech Mountain, NC, is the highest city east of the Rockies, so we are either in cloud cover or above it at times.

This weekend we will be heading up to Beech Mountain Ski Resort for all kinds of fun at the Totally 80s Retro Ski Weekend! Join us at Famous Fast Eddie’s Friday night, then at Beech Mountain Ski Resort on Saturday! And be sure to wear your best 80s gear for the costume contest on Saturday night with a $500 first prize! Join Us at the Charlie Craig Cruise-In and Help Support ACS!
Today we are at the Charlie Craig Cruise-In on New Hope Rd. in Gastonia. Charlie Craig is a good friend of the Carolina Ghostbusters and two-time cancer survivor.
Today at the 4th Annual Cruise-In you can see over 100 showcars, Gaston County’s SWAT Response Unit, additional emergency vehicles including vintage police cruisers, classic NASCAR cars and drivers including Bobby Allison and Junior Johnson, Mater from the movie Cars, and of course Ecto-1!
There’s also music, food, and a raffle, and all the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Come out and support a great cause.
